My kickstarter project is now live! For my solo show titled Soundtracks: Freestyle I'll be painting a completely new body of work--at least 30 pieces-- that will explore the visual expression of music and choreographed movement with paint. I'll be blogging about the whole experience here on da 8-count. already it's been a whirlwind just with planning, researching, designing, shooting video, rewards, logistics, analytics, the list goes on and on.
Last night i was up mixing the first mixtape off of the collection. I also started pulling albums that have significance to me either musically or via attachment to some period or activity of my life. It's a good thing those old mixtapes and cds will have a new purpose (if they're still around). you can download a mixtape on the kickstarter page - enjoy!
