we woke up to crappy weather so I thought our 4th would be a bust. But the skies cleared and we jumped at the chance to go outside for a stroll. Everyone was decked out in red white and blue and so were the girls! Though we were only a few blocks from excellent viewing areas, we opted to forgo the crowds and catch the fireworks on tv.
